It was so moving to be at the Los Angeles Zoo the day she was born. I had already fallen in love with her majestic parents. In the weeks and months that followed, it was a privilege to watch her develop. I simply had to paint her! Giraffes have a beautiful energy ... I will never forget my experiences with them.
