Yellow-spotted Gonatryx & White Cabbage butterflies

In this revision of an earlier painting from my California days, I refined several of the emerging new leaves on the primary prayer plant. I also added a White Cabbage to offer company to the original Yellow-spotted Gonatryx. Together they grace a glowing background in this contemporary work. The tilt of each leaf calls to the heavens to bring love and peace to the world, while the delicate papillons patiently wait full of hope.
